Rotary House Report

The Regional District of Nanaimo who rents the hall for various first aid courses is donating a TV-video machine to us. They use it at our building and are tired of moving it in and out. Hence they are giving it to us, i.e. no cost to us. It will be available to any hall user.
During the last major snowfalls we used Master Lawn Maintence to plow the parking lot and sidewalks. Some walk cleaning after our few light snowfalls was done by the Hall Chairman. The cost to us was $441.00. Master does our gardens, tree trimming, parking lot cleanup and lawn cutting for no fee (except a dozen roses for Jeanette) during the year. Carl Stout, the owner, is a member of The Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach.
We have applied for a Gaming Grant, thanks to Allen's great effort, to update the hall lighting and install new floors. Hopefully we will hear in February that we were successful. If not the floors will be touched up in March.
