I trust that no one showed up for breakfast this morning! ?

Our 10th Anniversary party last Sunday was a great success, with a total of 61attendees.
Our thanks to Charles with his expertise in the culinary department, the turkey and brisket of beef were “yummy”. There was some apprehension in the beginning as to whether we would have enough food, but thanks to last minute purchases by Shirlee and President Jim, we had more than enough. George did a great job as MC and Ron, who organized the event, surpassed himself,( I will definitely get Ron to organize our next Christmas party!) thanks to you guys for a job well done.
President Jim undertook to do the unveiling of the “Rogues Gallery” i.e. photos of our past, present and forthcoming presidents.
We are sorry to hear of Diana’s accident, which left her with 18 stitches in her right leg. We all wish her speedy recovery and, hopefully, see her at next week’s meeting

See you all next week for breakfast at Rotary House…… Kim.

Today’s smile.

A priest was seated next to a Newfie on a flight to St. John’s. After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken. The Newfie asked for Lambs rum and Pepsi, which was brought and placed before him. The flight attendant then asked the priest if he would like a drink. He replied in disgust…… “I’d rather be savagely raped by a dozen whores than let liquor touch my lips.”
The Newfie then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, “Me too, I didn’t know we had a choice.” !
